I'm so excited to finally bring two of my greatest passions together in one magical little corner of the world: creating beautiful things with my hands and wandering through all the incredible places this world has to offer.

For as long as I can remember, I've had an adventurous spirit. I've spent my life exploring, taking the scenic route, wandering down unfamiliar trails, discovering hidden waterfalls, visiting charming little towns, and finding beauty in places others might pass right by.

There's just something magical about getting lost in nature, stumbling upon a hidden gem, or discovering a little restaurant tucked away somewhere unexpected.

And now, I want to share those experiences with you.

Where Creativity Meets Adventure 🌿

Raven Clay Works began with a love for creating unique, handmade clay jewelry. Every necklace, bracelet, ring, and little creation is made with imagination, intention, and a touch of magic.

Much like the places I love exploring, I believe handmade pieces should have character, tell a story, and feel a little extraordinary.

But as I began building Raven Clay Works, I realized I wanted this space to be about more than just jewelry.

I wanted it to reflect the things that make my soul happy.

The forests. The mountains. The winding roads. The little roadside discoveries. The creativity. The freedom. And all those beautiful, unexpected moments along the way.

And that's how The Raven Journal came to life.

Although this blog is brand new, my love for adventure certainly isn't!

I've spent my whole life exploring, and now I'm opening up that world to bring you along.

Here, you'll find stories from my adventures throughout the Pacific Northwest and, eventually, wherever the road takes me.

We'll explore breathtaking hiking trails, hidden waterfalls, beautiful small towns, cozy places to stay, delicious local restaurants, and budget-friendly adventures that prove you don't need to spend a fortune to experience a little magic.

Some adventures will be carefully planned. Others might begin with nothing more than a full tank of gas, a cup of coffee, and the simple question, "I wonder what's down that road?"

Those are sometimes the very best adventures.

My hope is that Raven Clay Works becomes more than an online jewelry shop or a collection of travel stories.
